A 20-Hour Continuing Education Intensive
for Yoga Teachers

October 23-25, 2026 | Denver, CO

the body is in constant conversation

anatomy informs alignment

alignment informs touch

touch informs experience

This immersive weekend blends anatomy, alignment, and intelligent touch into one integrated learning experience, giving teachers the confidence to observe more clearly, cue more intentionally, and support students with greater skill and presence.

great teaching begins with understanding

this training is for you if...

✔

you've completed a 200-hour teacher training & want to deepen your understanding

✔

you often wonder why a pose feels different in different bodies

✔

you want to feel more confident offering modifications and progressions

✔

you want to learn hands-on assists that are intentional, ethical, and supportive

✔

you're ready to refine your teaching through a deeper understanding of movement

the three pillars

anatomy

learn the language of the body

alignment

learn to see movement

adjustment

learn the art of intelligent touch

Instead of treating anatomy, alignment, and adjustments as separate subjects,

anatomy

PILLAR I

learn the language of the body

we'll explore:

✦

musculoskeletal system and how bones, muscles, and joints work together to create movement

✦

joint actions and biomechanics in common yoga postures

✦

fascia and connective tissue as an interconnected system

✦

kinetic chains and how movement in one area influences another

✦

the nervous system's role in mobility, stability, balance, breath, and regulation

together we'll explore anatomy through the lens of movement, giving you practical knowledge you can immediately apply to your teaching.

alignment

PILLAR II

learn to see movement

Using the Ashtanga Primary Series as a framework,

we'll explore how anatomical principles come to life within asana

we'll explore:

✦

functional alignment principles instead of aesthetic alignment

✦

individual anatomical variation and why one cue doesn't fit every body

✦

pose relationships throughout the practice

✦

how to refine verbal cues to create more effective movement experiences

✦

building observational skills that allow you to respond instead of react

Alignment is not about creating perfect shapes,

it's about developing the ability to observe movement with

greater clarity and understand what you're seeing.

adjustment

PILLAR III

learn the art of intelligent touch

we'll explore:

✦

ethical touch, clear communication, and a culture of informed consent

✦

when to adjust, when to cue, and when observation is the greatest support

✦

intelligent assists for foundational and advanced standing, seated, balancing, backbending, and restorative postures

✦

guided partner practice with individualized feedback to build confidence and refine technique

✦

seamlessly integrating hands-on assists into the rhythm of a flowing vinyasa practice

hands-on assists are not about putting someone deeper into a pose, they are an opportunity to communicate safety, awareness, direction and support.

A 20-Hour Immersive Weekend for Yoga Teachers
